Wyre Marina slipway in the River Avon

Slipway

The slipway at Wyre Marina Boatyard is non-tidal, 10ft wide concrete with a 1 in 6 gradient throughout and a maximum depth of 1.5m. If customers do not have their own trailer, a marina launching fee includes: launching, parking for car and trailer, Use of the slipway requires that you show your driving licence for the purpose of identification.

The maximum permitted dimensions of craft are 6 meters length and 1 meter draught, use of the slipway for launch or recovery of any vessel having a greater dimension must apply for permission to the marina office.

The 'RED' markers denote the end of the concrete slipway, don't allow your trailer to go beyond that point.

Whilst in the vicinity of the slipway, please don't run your engine longer than is absolutely necessary, so that residents are not troubled with exhaust fumes and noise. Car and trailer parking is at your own risk. Owners should ensure that all necessary security precautions are taken.

Maintenance

Wyre Marina Boatyard is very proud to offer an extensive and fully equipped, working boatyard, with boat lifting equipment we able to easily remove boats from the river. The boatyard offers an ideal place to carry out everything from minor maintenance works, major refits or even new-boat building. A fully experienced marine engineer is available on-site.

We feel that we are not just a marina. We are very proud to offer an extensive and fully equipped, working boat yard.
The boatyard adjoins the marina and lifting dock; offering an ideal place to carry out everything from minor maintenance works, major refits or even new-boat building. Adequate working space is provided. You may wish work on craft yourself or can employ your own independent contractor.

The marina holds a list of specialist tradesmen and suppliers and certain work can be undertaken by our own workshops. Lift out and re-launch dates are flexible given reasonable notice. Great care is exercised when handling or lifting customer vessels.

The marina is situated in a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Avon, Pershore, Worcestershire. Offering attractive, safe and secure moorings for boats to a maximum length of 21m (70ft).
100 pontoon berths and 70 shore berths are serviced with mains electricity (240 volt), and fresh water connections, toilets and showers.

The Marina is situated in the villiage of Wyre Piddle offering attractive safe and secure moorings for boats to a maximum length of 27ft. Berths are serviced with mains electricity (240 volt), fresh water and telephone connections.

Our on-site facilities include: Private toilet and showers, Car parking, Bottled propane, butane and LPG, Elsan toilet waste disposal.

Berthing periods are available for single day to annual stays and with a variety of payment options offered. A limited number of berths are allocated for residential use (subject to conditions). Please enquire at the marina office.

Mooring in our pond offers a secure slot surrounded by other vessels.

Riverside moorings offer larger slots more suitable to narrowboats.

Mooring rates are calculated and charged by the foot.

We also provide toilets and showers.
